The Education Committee, chaired by Chairman Rodney Tumlin and Co-chair Bruce Whipple, generates interest in trout fishing through various projects with individuals and groups, including the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Chaired by Chairman Kenn Walker with assistance from Co Chairman Nathan Phillips this committee plans and executes work-day projects that are directly related to improving local salmon fisheries.
Chaired by Isham Colosetti this committee oversees the annual Shrimp Boil and works to generate funds to enable the chapter to carry out its mission.
Chaired by Isham Colosetti this committee helps recruit, retain and develop chapter members.
Tim O’Kelley’s committee helps plan, publish and distribute the chapter’s monthly newsletter.
Chairman Rodney Tumlin and Steve Westmoreland communicates and set up speakers for monthly chapter meetings.– Plans the program for each of the Chapter’s monthly meetings.
Chairman Steve Westmoreland Shall assist the Board of Directors and officers with leadership development and submit a slate of candidates for elections.
Chairman Nathan Phillips spearheads protection of the local resources of primary concern, which is the chapter’s home waters.
Chair Rodney Tumlin and Nelson Withers plans the chapter’s monthly fishing trips.
Chairman Jeff Wilson is responsible for the upkeep of the website and social media outlets as well as coordinating with the newsletter comittee.
