The Tuck/Nanny Campout trip will be on the weekend of March 28-30, 2008.
Will we be staying at the Deep Creek Campground. Information on
the
campground is here.
Several of us will be leaving on Friday around
noon. If you are planning to
attend please call the campground directly
to make your reservation. They have cabins, RV spots, and tent spots
so
there should be plenty of room. This is a great chance to fish the Tuck
River and the Nanny
River in North
Carolina. They do release water on
the Tuck River
which makes it difficult to wade, but if you have a
pontoon or some other boat, fishing on high water is very good. If
not,
the Nanny is a great backup to wade fish. As in last year we will
probably do most meals on an individual basis with the exception of
Saturday night dinner which I will prepare. I will also try to set up
a
group cooking area if needed. This is a great trip and all that went
last year had a great time so please join us. Please let me know if
