2010 Improve Our Streams Days


            April 3rd: Chattahoochie River Cleanup @Paces Mill Park--1 week prior to Fly Fishing for Veterans

                      

                    º  This cleanup is to get the river ready for the Fly Fishing for Vets Day Fly Fishing for Vets

                   

                    º   We are the lead chapter on this so please plan to attend


                    º   UCTU will be the supporting chapter


             June 19:  Bryant Creek

                   

                    º  UCTU will be the lead chapter                     º   Cohutta and Blue Ridge chapters are the support chapters


                   

For those interested in participating please provide me with your name and email address.  I will need a preliminary headcount by June 3rd and a definite by June 9th.  This headcount will help Jim Wentworth plan the scope of the project.

 

Attached please find a flyer and map to the Back-the-Brookie stream workday.  Details on meeting places and times are in the flyer.  Carl Riggs has graciously reserved the pavilion at Toccoa Bend to serve lunch.  UCCTU has the lead on the workday so Kevin McGrath is the main POC.

You will want to bring along gloves, hat, waders or hippers (it will be warm and most wet wade), and any change of clothes that you may want.
